You presume you are a small entity, but within you the entire universe is enfolded ~Nahjul Balagha ~ Imam Ali Bin Abi Taleb.
You see, there’s so much wisdom behind this phrase, you might look at it as it’s a nice saying that makes you feel significant, but just imagine God’s creations, wisdom & the resemblances in our physical mental and spiritual selves that are reflected in the universe.
There’s a beginning to this part of the poem that goes like this:
Your ailment is within you, yet you do not perceive it,
And your cure is also within you, but you do not sense it.
You think you are just a small entity,
Yet within you, the greater universe is enfolded.
Everytime I read this it takes me to another dimension, it makes me believe in my inner strength and power, and how YOU are the one in control of your life, internally which reflects externally.
